Opening hours during Christmas and New Year
The pharmacy will be closed on Christmas Day, Saturday 25 and on Boxing Day, Sunday 26 December
And on New Year’s Day, Friday 1 January
Our hours remain the same on all other days
Monday to Friday 9am – 7pm
Saturdays 9am – 5pm
Sundays and Public Holidays 10am-2pm
We are open on the holidays Monday 27 and Tuesday 28 December.
Be well prepared for the holiday season
This year, there won’t be too many international travel troubles to be concerned about; but summertime in Australia provides some home-grown problems. Make sure you’re well stocked with sunscreen – we’ve got a suitable product for every body.
Bites and stings are almost inevitable. For most people, mosquitoes might be just nuisance value, but depending where your travels take you (are you aiming yet for northern NSW or Qld?), the much more problematic Dengue or Ross River fever can be a risk. A good insect repellent is essential. Check with our staff for advice.
Maybe even more important is the need to protect ourselves, our families and our pets from tick bite. Tick Tox and Lyclear are essentials for your home and/or travel first aid kit.

From pandemic to endemic – the vax facts
Covid-19 is now considered endemic in the Australian community; that is, the virus will continue to circulate for the foreseeable future just like viruses that cause the common cold and the flu. Vaccination will be necessary for protection; but masks and regular hygiene measures, such as hand washing and sanitising, will also continue to be important.
With regard to covid-19 vaccines, whether you need your first, second or third dose, you can book in at the pharmacy now. All vaccines presently available in Australia are effective at preventing the serious consequences of Covid-19.
We have plentiful supplies; and we are vaccinating at the pharmacy Monday to Friday.
And check-out our range of masks. We have them in all shapes and sizes for the most comfortable fit.
Remember, covid-19 and influenza vaccines are not the only vaccines we can offer. We can provide the combination Diphtheria/Tetanus/Pertussis (whooping cough), and the measles, mumps, rubella (MMR) as well
